Vat is an award-winning creative and visionary business leader with over 20 years of significant and progressive experience in the entertainment, tech, and consumer goods industries at top media companies and fast growing startups.

Currently, his work in the startup space has included launching a reality competition series, OTT networks, numerous brands across the emerging cannabis industry and new product innovations for consumer goods companies.

While at Walt Disney Studios, Vat implemented multi-platform marketing campaigns that helped drive over $2.68B of global revenue for Pixar, Disney Animation, Marvel, and Lucas Films.

Prior to his stint at Walt Disney Studios, Vat directed strategic and innovative campaigns for global brands at some of the most well-known Television Networks including MTV, Logo, E!, and Oxygen Media. With keen insight into multi-cultural & niche markets, Vat has driven multi-platform campaigns for his clients which include: Unilever, Volkswagen, Proctor & Gamble, AT&T, Subaru, T-Mobile, General Mills, Victoria’s Secret, Hershey’s, Johnson & Johnson, & Pepsi Co. 

Vat has always been entrepreneurial-minded, founding multiple businesses over the course of his career which span industries such as education, hospitality, advertising, events, and print distribution.  While at E!, he played a key role in launching a new franchise, E!'s Live From New York Fashion Week, by overseeing contract negotiations, strategic planning, content development and production, resulting in over $20M of global revenue.

Community service and activism are an important part of Vat's ethos.  His work with causes such as HIV/AIDS research, Education, Refugee Aid, and Global Health have benefitted organizations like Doctors without Borders and The Abzyme Research Foundation. 

Vat has a degree in Philosophy from the University of Maryland.
